The Magic of David Garrard will again be featured at the 2015 Georgia Independent Schools Association annual conference, November 1-2 in Atlanta. At present, David is scheduled to perform Sunday evening and speak sometime on Monday. David will be presenting excerpts from his program Teacher, I Need You— a magical message designed to thank and inspire teachers for the amazing work they do.
Watch for The Magic of David Garrard at Churchill Downs on Sunday afternoon, June 21. David will be performing close-up/walk around magic from 1 -3 p.m. as part of Family Fun Day.
David Garrard will once again be appearing on the WHAS Crusade for Children. David will be performing live in the studio beginning at 11:30 p.m.
David Garrard will add a touch of magic to the D. Wayne Lukas Derby Party on Thursday, April 30. David will perform close-up magic for the legendary trainer and his friends as they gather to celebrate the Kentucky Derby in the Lukas home.
David Garrard will be a featured performer at the 2015 St. Matthews Street Festival, Saturday, May 16 in the heart of St. Matthews. David will perform at 2:15 p.m. on the West Stage.
David Garrard will bring his magic to Temple Shalom in Louisville on Sunday afternoon, May 17 when he performs for their annual Family Fun Day. Showtime is set for mid-afternoon. Contact the Temple for additional information.
The close-up magic of David Garrard will be part of the featured entertainment for Ballard High School’s 2015 Project Graduation. Graduated seniors will have a chance to enjoy amazing sleight of hand with cards, coins and other small objects done up-close– in their hands and right under their noses! The party begins at midnight on Saturday, June 6.
David Garrard will bring his magic and his message to Campbellsville University on Wednesday morning, January 22. This will mark the third time David has spoken for CU students. Ed Pavy is Director of Campus Ministries at Campbellsville and coordinates chapel programs.
David Garrard will return to Hannibal-LaGrange College in Hannibal, Missouri to perform in chapel on Wednesday, October 27. Thomas Hufty, Vice President for Collegiate Affairs and Assistant to the President said this about David’s 2009 performance: “David Garrard is an excellent communicator! His ability as a magician is second to none! Our college community was amazed at his talent and captured by his message.”
David Garrard will bring his magic to his alma mater, Samford University for a special homecoming chapel, Thursday, November 4, 2010. David graduated from Samford in 1975. He has performed on campus on several occasions, including for the school’s sesquicentennial celebration.
