David’s magic will be part of the 68th annual WHAS Crusade for Children, June 5/6. The Crusade will still have a different look than in past years due to COVID. Overnight will consist of pre-recorded entertainment that will include two performances by David.  However, Saturday evening will also feature a live broadcast from the firehouse in Fairdale. David will perform at 7, 8 and 9 p.m.  Terry Meiners and Shay McAlister will host.

In October of 2020 David partnered with Mark Maxwell and Rachel May of Maxwell’s House of Music to create digital content for a virtual enrichment program being produced by Maxwell’s for Clark County schools in southern Indiana.  David taped two episodes in the venues at Maxwell’s House of Music.  Each featured David performing simple magic tricks for Rachel; then teaching how the tricks were done.  David’s magic will be made available to the schools later this year along with content created by other performers and artists.

The Magic of David Garrard returns for the 2020 Girl Scouts Festival of the Arts!  The Festival will be held on November 14 and will be a virtual event.  Due to the pandemic, the 2020 Festival will be open to all girls who are interested in attending, including Girl Scouts living across the country and non-Girl Scout members alike.  The registration deadline is November 6.  Click here to register.

The Magic of David Garrard will be featured at the 2019 Steamboat Nights presented by City of Jeffersonville (IN) Department of Parks & Recreation.  Dates are Friday/Saturday, August 30-31.  David will perform Saturday evening at 7, 8, 9 and 10 p.m. on the stage located at the foot of the walking bridge.  David’s friends, Mike Woodward and Ken Abbott will also perform.  Mike will be featured on Friday evening.  Ken will perform walk around/close up magic both nights.  Admission is free.

The Magic of David Garrard will once again grace the Family Stage at the 2019 Kentucky State Fair!  David will perform three shows daily, times to be announced.  He will share the stage with acclaimed juggler, Michael Goudeau.  Fair dates are August 15-25.

David Garrard will once again lend his talents to the WHAS Crusade for Children.  David will perform in the June 1 Bomhardt Theater show that kicks off the Crusade.  The show will be televised on WHAS-11 and live-streamed nationally.  David will also appear in the studio late night after the evening news.  Larry Ledford produces the show.

David Garrard will add a touch of magic to the Arkansas State University theater department’s spring production of Godspell.  The Stephen Schwartz classic will be directed by Marc WIlliams.  Show dates are April 12-14.
